A: The toffee is made with fresh butter, sugar, pinch of salt and a spray of vanilla. Sliced almonds are tossed in the hot toffee. Once  the toffee is cooled it is then bathed in a swiss chocolate and rolled in fresh ground walnuts.

A: Ellie May' Sweet Toffee Crunch can not be purchased in stores, however there are three ways to get your hands on a box or two. 1)Ellie can be found at the York Farmer's Market all year long. The winter market is indoors at the American Legion and meets 2 Saturday's a month. 2) Call Ellie and she will meet you at a time that is convenient for both, or 3) Order on line and have it shipped directly to you.

A: Ellie May's toffee is best eaten within 3 months. If you put the box in the freezer you can extend the life another 2 months.

A: Yes it is safe to freeze the candy. If the weather is hot it is recommended to freeze until you are ready to eat it

A: The candy is messured by weight so a box can average 12-15 pieces depending on the size of the pieces. The candy is broken into pieces so they vary in size.
